Negatives :

All scans will be provided un-inverted. If you wish to have your B&W or Color Negatives inverted, please request as such. By default, negatives will be provided in TIFF or TIF format. If you request a custom format, please request as such.

Turnaround Time:

Turnaround time is approximately 10 days to two weeks depending on the availability of wet scan supplies and technical aspects of scanning.

Retrieving Your Scans:

Scans can either be sent using an online file transfer service, or copied onto a USB Drive. There is no charge for this if you supply your own drive. Please contact us if you need to purchase a USB Drive for image retrieval.

Retrieving your Negatives/Positives/Documents:

If you wish to keep your negatives/positives/documents etc, please inform YEG Drum Scan & Imaging via the Order Form. If not, they will be discarded after a brief period of time.

Roll Film:

Roll film strips should be cut to the single frame that needs to be scanned. If you prefer to keep your strips uncut, a surcharge of 20% per un-scanned image will be added.

35mm Slides:

Please note that slides in holders will need to be removed. If the film came from a reusable plastic type holder, we will attempt to re-install the film in the original holder. Cardboard holders cannot be reused as they are damaged in the removal process.
